Painting like Monet

We used our fingers to paint the water lilies painting that the famous artist Monet painted a long time ago. Why did we use our fingers and not brushes?

This afternoon we have been researching Victorian schools using written and photographical evidence. We also learnt the difference between a Primary and Secondary source.
